The Old World Garden Spring Garden Workshop At The Farm

April 18 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Advance ticket purchase is required for this event. Tickets will not be sold at the event.

Our annual Old World Garden Spring Garden Workshop is set for Saturday, April 18th, 2026. Not only is it going to be even bigger this year – but also more fun than ever!

Spring Garden Workshop

This year’s theme for the April 18th, 2026 gardening workshop is : “How To Grow Vegetables With Ease – And Without The Weeds!

It will be a day filled with practical learning, helpful tips, and down-to-earth gardening advice. Every part of the workshop will be taught in an easy-to-follow style. We want gardeners to walk away with clear steps they can put into action right away.

From big gardens, to raised bed and container growing – we will cover how to grow a great vegetable garden from start to finish – all without having to worry about constantly battling weeds in the process!

Throughout the day there will be time for questions, demonstrations, and examples from our own successes and failures. We learn by doing, and we want to share the lessons that have helped us the most over the years

The Details

The workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Grassland Event Center on the farm – and will wrap up at 3:00 p.m. A buffet lunch is included with registration, and every guest will also be invited to take a guided tour of the farm or explore on their own afterward from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This event is perfect for beginners who want to get started the right way, experienced gardeners who want to grow better crops, and anyone who simply loves learning about gardening. We hope many of you will join us for a fun and educational day at the farm this spring!

Seating will be limited to only 144 guests, which will keep the setting comfortable and the entire experience of the gardening workshop and farm personal.

We will serve lunch at midday, giving gardeners a chance to relax, talk with others, and enjoy a break before the afternoon session. Our new event center offers a bright, comfortable space with plenty of room for everyone. And if the weather is good – we will also be doing a few demonstrations in our garden as well throughout the day.

Registration is now open. We do have an early bird special registration for $45 per person (tickets are normally $55) that is good until February 1st. Tickets include all sessions, a full lunch, and the optional farm tour as well. Because seating is limited to 144 people, early registration is strongly encouraged. Gardeners travel from many areas to join our workshops, and space fills quickly!
